Mallorca - the new MotoGP world champion Jorge Lorenzo returned to his hometown in Mallorca, Spain. Fiat Yamaha rider gets a rousing welcome like heroes upon arrival in Mallorca on Thursday (21/10/2010).Lorenzo Thousands of fans filled the streets of Palma de Mallorca. They sang the song We Are The Champions, owned by legendary band Queen, who was already an iconic song victory in sports.
Lorenzo also give helmets astronauts to the leaders of Spain, Frances Antich. Helmets were also to be used in series at Estoril later, to celebrate 40 years of landing man on the moon.
Lorenzo ensure world title after finishing in the top three Malaysian GP, Sepang. Then he continue his career after being runner-up at the Australian GP. Lorenzo finish behind the Ducati rider Casey Stoner.
